  • The library includes over 1,200 Braille titles, its own production of specialized publications as well as the production of Czech and foreign publishing houses, such as:
    • o Library and printing  company of K. E. Macanin Prague,
    • German Central Library fortheBlind (Deutsche Zentralbücherei für Blinde) in Leipzig,
    • German Library for the Blind (Deutsche Blindenbibliothek) in Marburg,
    • Union of Institutions for the Blind (FederazioneNazionaledelleIstituzioni pro Ciechi) in Rome,
    • Valentin Haüy Association (Association Valentin Haüy) in Paris.
  • The tactile catalogue comprises not only text, but also graphic documents:
    • maps and interior plans created with by various technologies,
    • graphic tactile sheets of varied areas of interest  (architecture, biology, physics etc.),
    • 3-D models.

  • All tactile text production of the Teiresas Centre is printed so that the sighted and the blind can work together – each page in Braille is also printed in ink, with each Braille character matched by a character in ink. Therefore an instructor can follow the work of blind students without the need to know Braille.
  • If the source material necessitates a graphic component, it is provided in 2D or 3D.
  • Extensive documents are divided into 50–100 page fascicles in the A4 format, which are inserted into a folder, so that they form 300–400 page-long volumes.
  • The Teiresias Centre strives to create standards of blind person’s work, which is why its publications adhere strictly to the national norm for the typesetting of specialized symbols, as proposed in the publication by W. Gonzúrová (Příručka pro přepis černotisku podle normy bodového písma, KTN Praha 1996–1997, version online is in czech only); when typesetting specialized foreign-language publications, the crucial principle is respecting appropriate national norms.
